I had very poor response to emails from the first salesman I dealt with. He has left the company since I ordered and I can only say good things about Simon Griffin who took over my order.

My car started smoking as I got home. Barrets came out, retrieved it and brought it back. Coolant had been spilt on the engine cover and hadn't been wiped away.

Problem eventually sorted out although I also asked for someone to look at front right fog light which was /is loose. Sophie confirmed request passed to technician but fog light still loose and no info given re the issue

Shoutout to Courtney Fletcher for recognizing my needs and getting a larger courtesy vehicle swapped to my home. Very attentive and I'm certain she helped me meet deadlines for getting my vehicle back before a critical trip that required my X5 back.

They were helpful and friendly from the call to book to walking in and using the waiting area during the recall job till I walked out the door. The report was good but the verbal recording was spoken too quickly and was difficult to fully understand

Courtesy car was changed from a 520d to an electric mini at the last minute. I couldn't charge it so couldn't use it. Then when I collected my car the service had not been updated on the car so I had to return to the garage to get it updated.

Early drop off great with 'real' person support-brilliant. Staff were friendly and courteous. Had to phone for updates on my car, tried to charge £246 to take off a tyre on a cracked rim and fit the tyre back on to a new rim they were supplying. 3.5#

The service was quite negative and felt they were unable to assist. They eventually moved the camera to a place I was told previously they couldn't do. I was told we couldn't not return the camera but what happened to the 14 day cool of period

My car was in for a recall. Easy, quick drop off as i booked vehicle in online. I was kept informed throughout the day. My car received a complimentary health check, was valeted and BMW goodies left on the passenger seat. Drove away smiling ..

Wrote tyre I had told them had suffered considerable pressure loss OK in a health check report. Identified another tyre had blistered after 3000m and rejected possibility of manufacturing fault. Underinflated new tyre. Oily print on pale interior.

Brilliant, you have a day and time and Barratt's keep to that. They always keep you informed of progress and indeed should anything untoward needs carrying out. If your car is in for more than a day then you have the option of a quality loan car.

Massive waste of time over staff not caring enough. The only helpful staff were the receptionists and the host. waiting to see if the service was put onto the on-board computer remotely as no call back and I currently don't have access to the vehicle

Acknowledgment on the delay was not good enough. If I'd been told I wouldn't have minded but I got there for 1.45 so to leave at 5pm was not good enough

It was easy to arrange and book the service within the timeframe that was needed. A courtesy car was available and even driving the courtesy car was an excellent experience. The care taken in explaining the results and the clarity given by the video.

I received a very good service. I would give 4 rather than 5 stars as I think the Barretts policy to stop refurbishing alloy wheels for customers is wrong. I think you should be able to get this kind of work done through a main dealer.

Service was carried out well. But the comment that I put on the check in I believe was ignored as the steering wheel still is squeaky and nothing was said about it on collection. So I still have a problem with my car that I will need to get addressed

It would have been 5 stars if the work to correct the rear light fault had been carried out under warranty. On a positive note, I was only charged for an hour labour even though the fault took longer to trace.

The overall cost of the service was I thought fair and not excessive. All the staff members were very friendly and helpful. Even those I didn't engage with all stopped to say hello. Work was completed within the time promised.

The service and the work associated with the recall was carried out in the timescales I was advised. Omitting to reset the service interval was the only minor drop-off. I have never had the need to return the car due to any workmanship problems.

I was taken there by a transporter, after a blow out on the M20 and not only did Sophie source me a compatible tyre, but also obtained a replacement vehicle to get me home, after noticing a recall was required!

A slow start, with some miscommunication about booking and parts being in, Sophie rescued the situation with some excellent manoeuvrability and rescheduling. Thus establishing my trust in Barrett's BMW again!
